Time to Indulge with Umberto Giannini

I am super excited to be collaborating with Umberto Giannini to bring you this hair care post featuring their Indulge range which will pamper and revive your frazzled Summer locks!

There are so many things I love about their brand – cruelty free, vegan, affordable products that actually do what they promise and all bottled up in gorgeous packaging to brighten up your bathroom.

Skincare and beauty products tend to be clearly marked nowadays when vegan or cruelty free but navigating the high street hair care aisles can be a lot trickier! I am often asked to recommend cruelty free products and this is a brand I am always happy to recommend as they have a range to suit every hair type.

The Indulge range is the ideal remedy to revive your hair after too much sun as it moisturises throughout every step of your hair care routine.

The Indulge shampoo has a spa like scent and a creamy texture that creates loads of lather for a luxurious feel, you can take this opportunity to pretend your filming your own shampoo advert.

The range includes a nutrient spray designed to replace the traditional conditioner, I must admit it felt strange to skip this step in the shower routine. No need to worry though as the spray is packed with coconut oil and Jojoba oil to detangle while moisturising, you don’t need me to tell you coconut oil is a miracle worker. The multi tasking doesn’t stop there as it also acts as a heat protector too!

The final hair care step after styling is the Spoil Me Hair Oil to take control of any pesky flyaways and add a supermodel shine your locks. A little goes a long way so this lasts for ages and it can also be used on damp hair if you need to take your frizz fighting to the next level. Seriously less is more as I was left looking a bit too slick after applying too generously after first use!

Hair care meets self care with the weekly hair mask, no time is no excuse as it gets to work in just 3 minutes! The mask comes with a hair cap so it can really soak into your hair rather than a towel. To be honest the clear plastic cap takes away from the luxurious feel of the range but hair products dripping down your face is hardly a glamorous alternative so I’ll be sticking with the cap.

Time to get technical, this range makes your hair feel seriously swishy. Yes, Swishy. You know that feeling after you walk out the salon with a fresh new do and the high street suddenly becomes your personal catwalk? After using for a month my hair really does feel so much softer despite some serious heat from the sun so I would definitely recommend the Indulge range if your hair needs a bit of TLC.

Confession: When it comes to styling I am ridiculously lazy so I rely on products to do the hard work! So whether it be to keep my lob smooth or give it some texture I trust in these UG products:

1. Catch a Wave Beach Texture Spray – I have tried so many texture sprays which have left my hair with that gross crispy feel but this is packed with coconut oil to soften as well as UV filters to protect against sun damage.

2. Weather Proof Anti-Humidity Hairspray – This is my go to hairspray as fights humidity and the dreaded frizz.

3. Shower in a Bottle Magic Foam Cleanser – this magical foam is amazing as it soaks in to refresh hair without the usual powdery tell tale sign of other dry shampoo.

My bestie has long, thick hair and has been loving the curl range especially after someone asked about her new “extensions ” so clearly her hair is looking fabulous.

Check out their website for full product range as well as lots of tips and tricks whatever your style.
