So both secret Santa and stocking fillers tend to be smaller low cost gifts but that doesn’t mean they have to be cheap plastic nonsense where the novelty is unlikely to last past the new year.

Ethical lifestyle toolkit by Bright Zine is a cute wee kit containing a fork, spoon, set of chopsticks and stainless steel straw.
Seed Bom is a colourful gardening grenade that helps sustain bee, butterfly and other important insect populations by growing specially selected flowers.
Fruu lip balms are made mostly from fruit which would have otherwise went to waste. Their fruity balms are also available in colour balms which are ideal for a subtle day tint or buildable colour.
Even a plant serial killer should manage to look after a cactus and a mini one should be easy to find even with a modest budget. A lovely local shop has opened in Glasgow Southside called Aperçu that is a plant person paradise.
T2 have some gorgeous loose leaf tea gift sets this year, my fave is the Festive friends Cracker Duo which has a Christmas blend and a mulled wine inspired tea.
