White Rabbit Skincare

Last year I was invited to brunch by White Rabbit Skincare to celebrate the launch of their super sleek and eco friendly new packaging but there is so much more to this range than good branding.

It was super interesting listening to founder Melanie talk about how she developed the brand after being diagnosed with psoriasis. It was her condition which led her to learn that skin absorbs up to 60% of what you put onto it into your blood stream yet the majority of products on the market were full of irritants and synthetic ingredients.

So not only is the entire White Rabbit Skincare range vegan but it is always free from  parabens, SLS, silicones, mineral oils or derivatives of petrochemicals, artificial fragrances, artificial colours and synthetics. Seriously who wants their skin soaking up this shit?!?

I have since become a brand ambassador and wanted to share what products I have been loving from the White Rabbit range for around 6 months now.

The lime and coconut cleansing water is great for a first cleanse, I found this to be thicker than other cleansing waters with an almost creamy texture. It is great for when you are rushed as you just wipe all over with cotton pad and you are done. However, if you really want to look after your skin then it was worth taking the time to double cleanse for a deep clean that ensures you remove all make up as well as pollution.

I love following up step one with their Eucalyptus & Lavender Cleansing Balm which is one of my favourite products in the range. The bamboo outer packaging is very spa like and it smells soooooo good! It only takes a wee pinch of the balm to cleanse and remove any make up.

After cleansing I use the Orange & Aloe Toner which didn’t irritate my skin at all unlike a lot of toners I have tried in the past. It has such an energising scent which is great for the morning but I sometimes give this product a miss when cleansing just before bed.

The Olive & Avocado Cell Renewal Serum soaks into skin quickly but I like to use my face roller straight from the fridge to give it a helping hand and it means my face gets a nice massage too – delightful.

Next up is the Chamomile & Carrot Seed Eye Cream, I am becoming a tad paranoid about crows feet starting to make an appearance so eye cream has become an absolute must! Like the cleansing balm, a little goes a long way with this product too.

I was also given a selection of different moisturisers to try including the night cream. Their night cream has an extra benefit as a £1 from every pot sold is donated to the M.E. Association, this charity helps to research and raise awareness about M.E. (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis – more commonly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome).

Once a week I use the Glycolic Cleanser and it is a real game changer! I had avoided this type of product previously because I feared it would be too harsh on my skin but this is super gentle aside from a slight tingle while it works it’s magic. It works by breaking down the bonds that hold dead skin cells together so you can just rinse away dry skin with no need to scrub your skin and the results are instant!

Let me know if you have tried out any of the White Rabbit Skincare range!

I was invited to this event, gifted products and have recently become a brand ambassador but I pinky promise all opinions (as always!) are entirely mine.
